How to reach Valle Maira

The valley is reached from Dronero (CN). By car: leave the A6 Turin–Savona motorway at Marene or Fossano and head for Cuneo and Dronero, or take the A33 towards Cuneo. From Dronero a single road climbs the length of the valley to Acceglio.

By train: the nearest station is Cuneo, from where you continue by bus or car to Dronero and on into the valley. You will find us at Elva (La Caso d'Elva), San Damiano Macra (Vallemaira.House) and Macra (Ristorante Al Bial); for the higher hamlets you will want your own car.
